Iran short film 'Return' is set to screen at 2018 Religion Today Film Festival in Italy.
Directed by Shahriar Pourseyedian, the short flick is a product of Iranian Youth Cinema Society.
On its first international presence, the film will attend the 21st edition of this cinematic event.
The film is about a man named Rahim who has been in prison for 23 years. Now, he comes back to his hometown to visit his brother. The trip back home brings to light some unspeakable secret.
The Religion Today Film Festival was born in Trento in 1997 as the first event of its kind dedicated to dialogue between cinema and religions. At the basis of the festival is the conviction that cinema can offer a good workshop for reciprocal learning between different cultures and their unique imaginations.
The 21st edition of the festival is slated for October 4-11, 2018.
